it's official: michael gira really is a goddamn genius

what i love about this shit is that on first blush it's completely not like swans whatsoever but if you're a deep appreciator like this motherfucker then you're like holy fuck it has the exact same touch and layering as any ball bursting swans track but instead of making something noisy and discordant, he's actually trying to make it pretty

jesus christ you guys, this dude is so under appreciated

I remember reading some interview where he said he got Swans back together after realizing that AoL had basically become the band he wanted Swans to be when they broke up.
