So are FLACS..
OK, so ive downloaded the VLM player.. went to the http links for the flac files, and when i click on them i get a page that has a bunch of txt on it, but looks as though i'm downloading something. One the file has completed downloading, nothing happens, and i can't find where the ifle is being saved too, that is if it is being saved somewhere. What do i need to do to play these files? what step am i missing?? I'm on a mac. |

I don't want to make things too easy for you guys because I'm also not a fan of polluting trading pools, but there is somewhat easy way to convert your flacs to v0 mp3s while retaining the tags and skipping the wav process.

I DLed the complete 24-bit torrent, now how do I get these tracks onto a CD(s)??? I've decoded the files to WAVs, and it's still not working through NERO.

The other options are, downsample them to 16 bit which i'm pretty sure audacity can do (don't use it myself, so not sure), and is free
Or download the 16 bit version |

Ahhh yes, thanks guys. I should have just DLed the 16-bit version. Oh well, I found away to convert them to 16-bit, and they work fine on the CD! Thanks again

Sorry this has been hashed over a million times already.
So I downloaded the torrent file, and I downloaded the Max program (I'm on a mac) but now Max won't accept the torrent files to convert to wavs or mp3s or whatever. I feel like I missed step somewhere maybe. |

ffp is for "flac fingerprints" and the file can be used for testing flac files for their integrity.
an .md5 file contains a checksum for one or more files, also for the sake of checking file integrity, but it's more commonly used for .shn files |
