i disagree that it sounds like a monuments song. is not even close to it. james' influence is incredibly evident in this song, more so than solara. but all in all, it's a pretty generic song but it's got the james feel on it which is something i welcome with open arms. it kind of reminds me of a machina/zwan era song. gives me an early 2000s vibe for some reason. all in all, i like it more than anything the band has done since 2007.

and yes, holy shit, it sounds just like speed of love hahaha.

What a cock tease of a song.

The verse vibe is cool, refreshing even.

But then I was waiting for the fuzzy soaring chorus to land and it just wasn't there. Instead we get another verse / pre-chorus section which is flat and adds nothing.

How can this group of people write and produce a song which is just one long verse with absolutely no payoff.

exactly my thought. I liked the verse and then it just seemed to go nowhere.. just flat.

It’s not perfect but given a few spins I think it’s the best SP single since That’s the Way. Probably the most respectable production and aesthetic-wise since SP1.

Even Netphoria can’t be too unhappy with that.
