According to the lady who's looking after her right now, she's very playful towards her but rather independent when it comes to playtime with her siblings. She was the first to leave the pack, so to speak, and she amuses herself on her own.

Which is cool. I like strong, independent women. Maybe I should call her Lisbeth Salander.

Not the first example I'd think about when thinking of strong independent women.

That being said, Salander would be a pretty decent cat name.

Would likely get shortened to Sal or Sally though

More than two syllables in a pet name is not that recommended for this reason. There's lisbeth but I find this a little boring compared to Salander.

ultimately, female cats are often beautiful little murder machines so you should definitely go with some kind of heroine or hunter

My cat Dexy is like this. she ruined over i'd say 30 cables so far in her life. Even those that aren't ruined, there's pretty much no cable in this house her teeth marks aren't imprinted into. She does it for attention too mainly. Which is the worst she'll be like oh you're not paying attention to me? ok fine.. I chew this cable now then. Anyway that earned her the nickname Mynock. As in Empire strikes back "Mynocks, chewing on the power cables". So if I could do it over, I might name her Mynock. Not the cutest name, but fitting.

PS: I really wanted to write her lines in lolcat talk but I don't dare do this publicly.

My parents got a female kitten a couple of years ago, we didn't wait for its personality to emerge before naming it though. Mum came up with the name Poppy on the way home from the vet where we got it from and it stuck.

I like the name but it doesn't quite suit her because she bites and claws anything that comes near her to shreds. She's so cute but you can't cuddle her

She's ruined two webcams so far actually. I pretty much got another cat so that she'd be more frequently entertained so she'd stop being such a dick. But that only worked a while. Now the former kitten is all grown up and bigger than her so she doesn't really want to play with him anymore since she doesn't care to if he can get the upper hand. Still he's a big dumb cat, she's a true warrior. She thought she could train him for her cat army but he doesn't give a fuck. he just wants foods and cuddles. she thinks he's so stupid.

Its not really surprising. All the experiences ive had with dogs and cats is that they get along fine.

the thing is even cats, if you introduce a new one chances are the one that was there before will be upset and hiss at it and attack it and hate it for a bit. That's always what happened anyway with mine. but then they eventually get along. It's a bit like that for cats and dogs too.
