Default Home recording question

I used to be on Mac, but I've switched over to a Windows PC

what is avaliable for Windows that does internal routing?
similar to Soundflower which is Mac only...
any ideas? i can't find anything

you know what i mean? http://www.cycling74.com/products/soundflower

a system extension that allows applications to pass audio to other
applications. Soundflower is easy to use, it simply presents itself as
an audio device, allowing any audio application to send and receive
audio with no other support needed.
It acts like a "fake" internal soundcard/mixer

what is avaliable?

there is something like this.....i used to use it a few years ago, but i cant recall what it is called. it showed a little dot for each of my audio inputs, and i could open other programs like guitar rig in this little app, and run the audio inputs into the software, then into another software, then another etc by arranging them and drawing lines that link the audio chain. pretty neat. try google?

Ok, from googling around Elektrik Piano and Guitar Rig both work as plugins that Audition supports, so why not just run them within Audition?

If you really want to route stuff everywhere maybe this will do it:

Or if you have a Creative soundcard you could try the kX audio drivers, I think you'll be able to do some ASIO routing in those but it's pretty involved
