The nadir is 2001-2005ish when Billy was still writing fantastic songs and did not have the Pumpkins as a vehicle to put them out.

the moment that ruined the band for me was Jimmy leaving in 2009. Probably their worst moment artistically was the tv performance of Widow Wake My Mind with the Mormon choir

For me, it was seeing them live in.. 2009??... when Billy hopped on one leg playing the tambourine to some genuinely terrible song.

It's my only foggy memory of that concert.

When I saw billy spitting around on stage. I guess at least 15 times. i mean it wasnt a bit of spit - it was like a fucking mouthful. Bad habit. Disgusting

but yes, the jimmy white van thing was actually more offensive because of how awesome jimmy is. on jimmy's behalf, that one. on my behalf, maybe solara.
