Presumably it’s already done and dusted - they recorded 16 tracks with Rubin, right?
So they’re just sitting on the other 8?

They can keep sitting on them if volume 1 is anything to go by.

Will never happen, like the record itself.

Corgan will have a nervous breakdown after the bad record sales of Shiny 1 and his followig solo release.

The band will concentrate on the Machina reissue and a tour upon it.

Nah, they recorded 8 with Rubin - the other 8 were demos he rejected.

Will get worser. Corgan may try to make "Machina" into a Broadway A-level musical.
He already told to have interest in making a musical.

the re-issue is going to be a bloated mess at this point.

im sure there will be a super-deluxe edition for $300 including a social media bashing from bully for no one buying said release

Default Loveless or Siamese Dream?

The other night I had both of these albums on (not at the same time, though that would've been interesting) and it struck me that they very much occupy the same sonic space.

While Loveless is certainly a hazier, more blurry (and druggy sounding) album, and SD has more commercial moments (and softer segments), they both derive their power from matching heavy guitar sounds with light, melodic vocals, and both feature top quality songwriting.

However, which album is better? And which do you prefer? SD is always going to be special for me, but Loveless remains as mind-blowing now as it did 1991. So I'm not even sure myself.

Default Machina Mystery -- REVEALED!!!

true story: I was driving home from work today on the expressway. I put in my old Machina CD that I bought with rolls of quarters when I was in high school on the day it was released. A few minutes later, I noticed the gentleman in front of me was driving a vehicle accessorized with "truck nuts". And I didn't pay much mind. But as I was listening to BC sing "rain falls on everyone", lost in a momentary trance by the rhythmic swinging of the bronze colored testicles in the cold Atlantic wind, it hit me! The SP heart logo is an upside down ballsack! Billy's eye paint on this tour represents the celestial pubes radiating out of the Giant Scrotum that is Billy's face! As Stand inside your love began, I listened with a new sense of appreciation for Billy's unparalleled genius.
