Even if Trump is playing 4-D chess with his Knights Templar buddies who want to take back Jerusalem, he can't walk back all his anti Neo-Con campaign rhetoric. Stopping TPP was nice and necessary, but the regime change tactics undermine it to a great extent politically for him. He may be eyeing only one term at this point.

btw, in addition to Trump wanting to move the Israeli U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem (which has been met with resistance), Putin and Russia very recently became the first nation to publicly recognise Jerusalem as Israels capital.

If the U.S. actually moves the embassy to Jerusalem, that would be a good indicator the Knights Templar thing with Trump has merit and make slightly more plausible the two Christians in Trump and Putin are trying to pull a cosmic figure-four on the Zionist.
