today my friend asked me how the smashing pumpkins were doing these days and i told her billy corgan is an insane right wing manchild who is terrible and transphobic etc and she was like give me an example so i told her about the he/she "if you have enough balls" incident and then she googled billy corgan and came up with some article about him going on alex jones and disbelieving climate change, trashing bernie sanders, and comparing liberals to the KKK or something. she was like

Wow, all that stuff checks out. You really just put a damper on my lets get into all of billys stuff in the last 7 years all at once buzz. I'll eventually just say eh, that's billy being billy but until it wears off... damn.

since the concert i've basically been listening to Alcest all day long

before the concert i thought nothing ever compared to Les Voyages De Lame. i thought of Kodama as too metallic (like, the mix felt off, drums too loud and punchy or something and less ethereal-ness) and Shelter was too soft, poppy, straightforward and unbalanced without the black metal elements.

but since the concert something clicked big time for me, and now i just get it and am absolutely loving all of it. taking it all in right now (unfortunately no weed to accompany this journey). yes i know that is what she said, but i'm not interested in anybody else except Neige right now tbh
