This is the big chance to become the new creative force at the next Pumpkins video!
Wanted or unwanted...
Now that Linda Strawdingle works for some Bon Jovis and Billy needs a little nap.

Corgan must read Netphoria:
He wasn't astonished, that someone already knew the song for the next single.

A new single called “Knights of Malta.” Wow. What could POSSIBLY go wrong??

Also I love how he added “vol 1” to the album title just to set up an expectation for a volume 2 that has a 90% chance of never coming out.

And you might be able to get both on one record.

Q Magazine gave it four stars... though they tend to give everything three or four stars. (out of five)

two years later, "So Bill is there gonna be a vol 3 of Shiny Bright White Kaledyscope whatever?"

"No, that ship has sailed. Abandoned project."

Red face

They will be rerecording some Teargarden goodies for Vol. 2 and 3, while Corgan tries to push his so low solo career with new songs.

Mr. Corgan, this song deserves to be a single! Not just on vinyl, in a box set.

Good observation, very ELO. This one will have to grow on me. The drums are mixed really low and sound more like a drum machine than Jimmy, he might have found himself being asked to drum for a genre of music where his otherwise legendary rhythmic creativity fails him. Meanwhile that monotonous string part is mixed really high. I give Billy credit for broadening his horizons and featuring a vocal chorus, but I think they way they mixed this track really gets in the way of me wanting to hear it more than twice. The drum part is boring, but if it was higher in the mix, it would be a groovy track.

First reaction is that it's the most interesting thing to come from the "shiny shitshow" so far

i'm sure a lot of people aren't gonna like the "whoa whoa whoas" but at least they're trying something different here - more interesting than another Zeit C-side or 1979 pt 4

the hi-hats keep it from sounding flat-out drum machine to me, & honestly after the last 2 this may be the most organic-sounding as far as the drums go

Worst offense as far as I can tell is that first "hoooo-WAHoWAHoole" in verse 1 - that's the best take they had for that? Really? O well, I'll get over it I suppose, & yeah the gospelish vox in the chorus were def a nice touch
