also i'm fucking floored by how good this sounds. this was at an outdoor amphitheater in 1994 and it sounds beautiful. i was just looking for shows played in my state, and was expecting some shitty tape hiss overdriven garbage. the reverb is [chef's kiss emoji]

It’s frustrating that there aren’t any soundboard recordings from the entire Lolla tour. This is pretty good quality for an audience recording though. And yeah that’s probably the best live version of Spaceboy ever.

What a surprise, a live performance I haven’t heard yet that was fucking awesome. Wonder how many more of these there are in the archives.
If Billy liked money and critical acclaim he could do what other legacy bands do and push out a classic live show every year for the next decade at least. Or bundle a show like this with a 30th anniversary edition of SD. But songs like Cyr won’t write themselves... |

A proper SD box set would’ve included shit like this. That there was no actual live discs was bs. Leave it to Big Willy style to botch a good opportunity to showcase stuff like this.
