Default Where are the Acoustic Guitars?

So far I love Zeitgeist and think there are some really amazing songs on this album...
Almost everything on this album Completely rocks out, which leads to the question in the title of my post...
Billy has been playing songs acousticly on tour, but on this album its almost as if there are no acoustic guitars whatsoever...
did Billy forget you can use acoustic guitars and put acoustic songs on albums?
I think a prime example of this is For God and Country, I think the live acoustic version is so much better than the studio version...
maybe they recorded some acoustic tracks and they didn't fit on the album, who knows...

I think its a good point, but really the acoustics don't seem necessary. And besides, I have the Berlin acoustic set for that stuff. I'm actually excited to relisten to it knowing i have heard all the songs....

for god and country is so good on the album, i liked the acoustic version, but man, how refreshing it is to hear that song. studio>live

you cant rock out to an acoustic guitar, he clearly wanted to do that with zeitgeist.

the new album definately does rock, but in my opinion I feel like they ruined For God and Country...
sometimes simplicity is beauty...
and truthfully the pumpkins have always been about more than rocking out....
the great thing about them is they could go from completely rocking you out to Billy tearing your heart out slowly with a sad acoustic song...
the lack of acoustic guitars won't make me stop listening to the album, but when I listen to For God and Country I will always yearn for something more like the live version...
