Default Cyr with guitars

In case you wondered what Cyr could've sounded like with some SD-style guitars.

Jeff is hilarious in the video acting like there’s shredding guitar. I laughed my ass off.

Yes, if they lost the background vocals.. had better drum lines.. and used these guitars and lost the stupid synths it might actually sound good..

Wow, that's awesome. Why can't Billy just make that? Why won't this band play guitar anymore?

after a few more listens I like this guitar version a bit.. but Jim needs to change how he plays.. Jimmy's drums sound even worse with this guitar.. can someone add good drum parts? maybe Netphoria needs to just make it's own good SP single

This version was interesting btw, but not every SP song needs big guitars.

I think Billy is running a basketball team now as a part of his fantasy. Benching players, calling in hot boys.

Wow, so much better except for the solo. Just something to help temper Billy's vocal fiddle farting all over the high end. It's sad that someone randomly improved it this significantly with minimal effort.

This is actually pretty sick, did you record the guitars yourself?

Yeah, I did three passes using a big muff and a Strat and nothing else. It took as long to do as to play it.

And yeah, the solo wasn't great, I could've done a better one if I was bothered.

To be honest, I don't think it works as a guitar song - it does sound better with just the synths.

the fuzz guitar honestly kinda ties it together, musically it almost sounds like a Machina II cut now - i'm glad you stuck with doubling the bassline instead of muddying it up with a different part, this actually makes even the backing vocals make a bit more sense (or at least, sound more like an ethereal element of the song instead of just tacked-on radio fluffing)

I didn't actually do any bass, I just did three guitar parts and the crappy, completely un-Corgan-esque, ruins-the-whole-song solo.

And yes, I just used a muff (a Big Muff Pi if you must know) which was DI-ed. I played three parts, two of which drop out during the verses and come back during the "stare down your masters" line.

If I'd been inclined to spend more than 5 minutes on it, I could've worked on the dynamics a bit and improved the solo.
