Yes, the video makes me respect Mike more. The Pumpkins may just not be the right band for his style. The Pumpkins have a lot of groove and flow. Mike sounds good when time signatures are odd and the result is supposed to sound cold and technical.

Yep. Billy made a bad decision.

In his audition video he actually played more smoothly but evolved into being all sterile and annoying.

Why would it sell truffles? Antiques? Host games, dj sets, poetry, and open mic sets? Why show films, host gallery shows, or talks? Mike always sounded better playing in the style he's most comfortable with. It's when Billy has Mike trying to emulate Jimmy when it all starts to fall apart. He just needs to beg for forgiveness and ask Jimmy to come back.
