The Future Embrace makes buddyhead.com's "Worst of 2005" list
Billy Corgan
The Future Embrace Speaking of annoying bald singers, it took about 5 minutes after this butt nugget came out and nobody gave a shit, for Billy to announce a Smashing Pumpkins reunion. Hey Billy, Zwan sucks, this shit sucks, and you getting the Smashing Pumpkins back together without any of the original members is REALLY gonna suck. How about you just stay home, count your money, update your blog every 3 minutes, write another Courtney Love album, and cry yourself to sleep every night cos you’re still bitter about not being as cool as Kurt Cobain, and leave the rest of us in peace. Well, I thought this was amusing. Link: http://www.buddyhead.com/music/bestof2005/

It's hard to take a list that puts R. Kelly's "Trapped in a Closet" as being the "Best of 2005" seriously though.

I'm really not sure how to take that page.. the list seemed to be authentic in some weird way, even tough there was so much sarcasm and mockery. But in any case, nothing about the page was remotely funny to me. The only thing I wonder.. would Billy's album sales have doubled or tripled for TFE if he had an album cover that didn't make people wince? I remember buying the cd and the girl at the register looking at the back cover saying, 'um.. that's creepy..'

Wow
I'd have to say anybody that doesn't like that album (at least the first half of it anyway) isn't really listening. The first 6 tracks on TFE totally kick ass in my opinion. For weeks I could not remove this album from my car CD player. I absolutely love this album.
I also was lucky enough to see this tour in St. Louis and I was shocked and startled at how bad ass it was. I think I was the only person in the crowd that was freaking out, but I didn't care anyway. I stood by the sound board with a bunch of square losers around me, sitting, and watching the show like they were sitting in a move theatre or something. I kept it real though pounded my Budweiser while absorbing this fantastic music. I think this was the coolest concert I've ever been to, seriously. TFE is WAY underrated. B
