Damn. I was really hoping it wouldn't be spread around.
I've got seats for the gig, so I don't have to worry about queueing and such. If this still goes ahead, and I really hope it does, the earliest I can get there is 7am. Think that should be alright? Last edited by black rose : 02-13-2008 at 06:43 PM. |

Oh he's not? I might go there straight from St Pancras, but by the time i'll get there all wristbands will be gone. I guess i'll have no other option than assault someone with a wristband. Yay!

So I was in the shop today, and they're advertising the shit out of it.
There's a board outside about it, posters inside, and even on the dividers that seperate the Pumpkins' CD's it says "Signing this Saturday!". Good news is, they're giving out 2 wristbands per person, so if your not able to get one yourself, you may be able to find someone with a spare. Chances are I'll have one I think. |

We will be racing here from the Manchester show overnight via train, so lapis and I will gladly take anyone's spares. But I expect we'll get our own. If not... have mercy on us Americans!

well the dedication is impressive - people coming from Manchester - me? I live 15 minutes away by train so I think Ill try to get there for about half 7 - even then Im sure there will be all the fucking cool people with stupid coloured hair and MCR t-shirts that are all like "My daddy so brought me here at 5am - he even trotted off to get me my bagels and latte because I so cant function without that" ............oh god.........................

I will personally chop of the hands of those fucking-cool-people-with-stupid-coloured-hair-and-MCR-t-shirts and recover their wristbands. If they show up at the signing in MCR shirts Billy might run off... We can't risk that. And anyway, they probably just plan on selling the signed cd's on ebay in order to get enough money for their next cool stupid haircut.
I'll try to get an earlier Eurostar ticket so i can get there in time, but i'm pretty sure that's not gonna work out. My train arrives at St Pancras at 9:00 *sigh*. |

At most signing's I've been to I've wanted to stab numerous people.
At least with a Pumpkins one there's less chance of prepubescent girls screaming, and proclaiming how the band saved their life. I've become quite worried now that there's gonna be a huge queue at 7. It sucks that's the earliest I can get up there, I'm about 15 minutes away on a train and then 15 minutes from that on a tube/bus. Otherwise I'd have to get the nightbus up. That takes nearly and hour and half and for a girl on her own, it's not the best. |

I just rang them up to clarify the wristband situation.
Turns out it's only 1 per person now! Which is annoying as it was advertised as 2 outside the shop. Boo |

I doubt they'll be that many people there until 9.
Pumpkins fans don't strike me to be the queueing type. More laid back I think. |

Very nice event, quite well organized.
The London fans are really shy and polite. Almost everyone got access to the signing. You could get (almost) anything signed, i got my white Tarantula vynil signed. Now the good news : BC is in the best mood i've seen in years !!!! And he told us that today they will play new songs, and seemed excited about it !!! |
