yeah sure - um can you post an exact pic so I get the right thing - there should be some catalogue at www.mec.ca (click on get catalogue)

I might need a backpack and some gas burner, and maybe tent if there's some solid one on sale....

you may want to look for a gas burner and a solid tent at Canadian Tire too... there's that big one just North of Bloor on Yonge.

see if this link works.

i'd like to see this in person and actually see how it feels. i like that it comes in a colour other than black...way less creepy.

i dunno, what do you think? should i wait until Monday(or some other time next week) and go buy them myself?

well, if you are going to Toronto only because of this/14 bucks, I get it for you, otherwise if I were you, I alone would probably try it myself before buying.
I'd go on Monday but I need that used stuff and I have that exam on Thursday

good luck on that exam, btw. make sure you get enough sleep before it.

no..i'm not coming to toronto just because of this. my best friend is moving back to france in a couple of weeks so i bullied her into coming to see one of our profs on monday. we're going to surprise her by going to her class and then maybe she'll let us take her out for coffee and autograph our books (i.e. our copies of the books she wrote).
