it doesn't matter, that's not even what I'm saying, you're just dense as shit. the noodling BilCo was doing on Spaniards in 2016 shows an understanding and capability on the guitar that Mascis can never aspire to, and this is comparing him at his best to Corgan's sloppiest. Billy Corgan is a much better guitarist than J Mascis, period.

i think there is a little dreamy and fuzzy (forgive me) quality to some of their stuff but it progresses instead of just swirling around like typical shoegaze. and again, those vocals. that's just not the vibe imo. but the albums released in the 90s are so crunchy and borderline grungey at the same time. they're a very difficult band to explain!!
