As a fan of both artists, I noticed Gregg Alexander and Billy literally had the same career trajectory aesthetically in the same exact years...

The New Radicals album is a masterpiece. I wonder what Billy thought about Gregg threatening to kick the asses of his buddies (Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson).

You know, a lot of the pop stuff Billy was putting out at the time ("Perfect", "1979", "With Every Light", "Try, Try, Try", etc.) isn't that far removed from this album tbh.
