Talking Lego Imperial Star Destroyer

This is the biggest retail set that Lego has ever made. 3104 pieces. $300. 37” by 23”. Way too expensive for a Lego, but a great deal if you consider piece to price ratio.

I find it cool that it comes with the little Blockade Runner.

I'm aware that there will only be a tiny margin of you that will care, but I gave all the basic information in the title, so if your intent is to flame me, consider your time wasted.

They should make a Death Star, to scale with that model

For Lego collectors, because of so many grey pieces, this sucker is sort of the Holy Grail. Anyways, if you had around $2,400 to spend, and you bought 8 of these, you could build a Super Star Destroyer to scale with this. So I guess you'd need to buy 9 to have one for scale reference. But that'd be cool!

Well if I was still 9 years old and still into Lego then I guess it would be cool.

Well, if somebody bought this for you, I'd build it for you. Hands down. Obviously you'd keep it and display it or whatever, but I'd love to be able to build that sucker.

That thing is fucking sweet. If I could justify spending 300 on Legos, I would.
