It was actually Dark Zwan, and I think they were supposed to play tracks along the lines of Spilled Milk, etc.

Yeah as I stated in the past this one was basically never talked about. It was supposedly kinda like the working name for the 4th album. The first album was all the upbeat pop rock songs. Then Djali album and film thing. Then a rock album. Then something that was mentioned a few times called Dark Zwan. I think it was going to be like the darker more jam based longer songs.
I doubt it was very well thought out and Billy could have just been making shit up as joke for all we know. He always has these staged plans and they never make it far past him just speculating. |

Don't worry. Even if Dark Zwan ever happened, which was about a one-in-a-million chance, much like Billy ditching the better Zwan songs for what is on MSOTS, the Dark Zwan album would have been comprised of lesser, more commercially-accessible "heavy jamz," which would have just been 10 tracks of "F.O.L." and "G.L.O.W." etc.

Thanks Rider! I had no clue what it was about before and always wondered. Heard the Dark/Black thing just a couple times. I'm diggin' Spilled Milk. Haven't heard it before nor have I delved TOO deep into the Zwan catalog... I love "Think You Know" and some badass/long song towards the end of Mary Star that has all kinds of long guitar solos going on and what sounds like triple-guitar stuff.
