If I’m not grown up then why am I not banned from half of the boards here?

But yeah just sent Mars the link. Tell him how to share it and mods make sure fuzzy can’t see it.

Amazing concert in Amsterdam. When the fuck did Muzzle become their most popular song?

I think it’s the lyrics
Tapped into a lot of middle age Gen X angst, more relevant now than ever kinda thing
“I feel that I am ordinary just like every one” is the perfect song for a 30 year old doing a 9-5 job

Goddamn, that song needs to be a live staple from now on. Everytime I see this performed it gets better and better. I’m glad the band has embraced the SP2.0 songs, Jimmy and particularly James add a whole new element to them. So far, this song has worked the best out of the three they are performing. I hope they do a live album sometime featuring this. Would be killer.

This tour should've had the 3D blu-ray treatment instead

Always found it cute when James and Jeff interact with each other, since some people assumed there would be tensions or a rivalry between the two. I like to imagine they make fun of Billy when he’s not around lol. Jeff needs to move around more or at least look like he’s there. I know Jack doesn’t do anything but at least he moves somewhat every five seconds.

I think it's not that they really like the song, but when you are at the concert and Billy starts to interact with the crowd, they play along...

It's the same when Jimmy starts a drum solo at the end of one of the new songs and everybody ends up going crazy at the end of that song. Smart moves from Billy

Concert in Antwerp was great.

The concert was great, the crowd was a bit weird tho. They would go from very quiet to mental in seconds.

1979 and Tonight, which are usually well received, were not the peak of the show. 1979 sounds a bit tired actually. From the singles, Ava Adore, BWBW and Today rocked harder.

GLOW sounds like a great song and I wonder how the fuck that happened. Everlasting Gaze was great live last night, the YouTube videos don't do that song justice, and the shorter version of SuperChrist is amazing!

The To Sheila + Wish You Were Here combo adds a nice mellow section to the concert.

Alienation was the only bad choice of the night to be honest.

Banter before Muzzle:

Billy: First time we played in Amsterdam was 1992...
James: yeah, I don't remember.
Billy: 1992. I remember all the hash cookies and cakes...
James: I don't remember...
Billy: and how I couldn't play after that...
James: I don't remember.
Jeff looks at Jimmy, Jimmy nods at him, confirming and both laugh.

Billy: now, we're are going to play a song, if you know the lyrics please sing along. If you don't...
James: ... If you don't, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!
Billy *cracks up*: I'm glad you said that and not me...

They start playing Muzzle and the crowd goes crazy. First time of the concert I saw people moshing.

Hummer sums up the concert nicely. I can see now why it's the last song the play.

funnily enough, that sounds like my one SP gig experience, Rotterdam in 2000. There was this guy in front of me that seemed bored during one half and just went mental during the other half.

perhaps, I just think that songs like Muzzle and Porcelina always had the most angsty/relatable-for-a-teenager lyrics. hearing them now invokes what endeared me most to SP in the past. they made the music and BC very personal
so, maybe aging has something to do with it, but I don't think it has anything to do with occupation or angst we have today
