Here we go:

All you need is a tiny utility for downloading audio and video streams called WM Recorder.

1. You can download it here - http://www.mediafire.com/?ekszdchvmmc (crack in_cluded, my antivirus said that there's a trojan in this file, but i just deleted it and evetything went ok).

2. Install and specify the folder where the recordings will be saved

3. In the main window, see the "URL" input field & paste this address there: http://127.0.0.1:6498/ms/asf/WDR.roc...g?MSWMExt=.asf

4. In the "FILE" field, type smth like this: RockAmRing.asf
any name can be used as you can guess, but the extension MUST be .asf

5. Click the "Record" button: a recording window will open where you can see download status.

6. When you're finished, click "Stop" button in the main window.

So, that's it! Enjoy!

Cool, I'm staying home tonight just to see that concert, so I realy hope they are not going to say "sorry, they refused to give us the permission at the last minute" (that happened before with Rockpalast).

The MTV one is for the archives if it's broadcasted complete... I would hope to see a copy done for DVD with menus and everything, then a torrent to distribute.

my choice is www.sendbigfiles.com:
it has an unlimited upload speed (so i can upload at my default up speed - 1 Mbit/sec). Download speed also seems ok - 400 kb/sec is stated on the site. the file will be deleted in 30 days.

It's supposed to work with either vlc or quicktime+flip4mac. It's worth a try...

That depends on what kind of mac you have, andrewface. It works if you have a PowerPC based mac. See http://www.octoshape.com/plugin/mac.asp for details. I'm watching and recording with Linux, works perfectly.

Im watching it with my mac book, install the plugin and choose to play with quicktime and flip4mac in the settings. You can reach them through the O next to the clock in the upper right corner. Im using firefox.
