NFL better watch out. In his mad-hatter way, Trump may be showing people how to change things for real.

Louisiana lawmakers question New Orleans Saints state funding after players protest

“I believe in the right to protest, but not at a taxpayer-subsidized sporting event. Do it on your own time. There are plenty of disabled children, elderly and veterans in this state that would appreciate the money.” – Rep. Kenny Havard

snap! things be getting tenses...the only two privately financed stadiums I know of are AT&T in S.F. and Lambeau Field. I'd guess there are others, but its a distinct minority this day and age.

why is kneeling considered disrespectful?
people who give it that interpretation must be very negative, and looking for something to argue about.
seems like a humble and respectful gesture to me.

I tend to agree but only if there's consistency with the micro-aggression crowd, which there isn't in this case. One side can have those feelings for anything, the other is considered racist for being offended by this protest.

No, I don't. It's phony outrage because they're mostly black players and you fucking know it. And I love how people railing against these players are super free market capitalists unless we're talking about talented black people. Then they should just be grateful.

Goddamn it.

The stadium funding goes to the fucking owners, not the players. The average NFL career is like three years

I am seriously getting overwhelmed by the stupidity on display here.

I guess I understand it but these people should try not being morons. Silent protest is not disrespect.

The tax issue is a huge one Eulogy. It's the sole reason the Oakland A's and Raiders have yet to build new stadiums and why the Raiders are leaving -- voters rejected tax money going to build stadiums at every turn.

I guess Oakland is racist?

And if people who love football were truly racist, they wouldn't be fans to begin with.

For three years. And then your brain may very well turn to mush.

Again why is the free market wrong here? And why is it bad for rich people to protest on behalf of the less fortunate?

The only person calling for anyone to infringe on anyone's right is trump. Jfc.

It's a protest against police brutality. Not against the treatment of athletes!

Except for michael Bennett. Where it's both!

Yes the response is to pull a bill Cosby or Charles Barkley quote because they speak for all black people.

Also not entirely sure how that quote is relevant at all to black players peacefully protesting police brutality?

That also doesn't have anything to do with peacefully protesting police brutality.

Again with the projecting. It's all you have as a rationale, so you have to stick to it...South Park just last night parodied you and the other dumbasses like you.

Dr. of Common Sense speaks too much truth for you to deal with, so your cowardly quip here only fools yourself.
