definitely on both counts

so many times people like to mix the vocals loud and guitar low. i don't want to hear some bratty kid singing LET ME OUT but if a kid can fuckin shred the solo I do want to hear it

I remember playing at my high school's talent show; basically all you heard in the mix was the vocals and snare. sounded awful.

kind of cool, to be in a high school band with some old rock star from a band that was "it" 20 years ago.

I would have loved this back in '96, to be rocking with aerosmith, eagles or queen..
