there aren't though - that's what makes the question valid.
but i see your point - if it was three hearts instead of triangles, for example, i'd still pick that over the others. it's not the triangle shape that makes it the answer for me, but the fact that it's uniquely different within the context of the question.

if there were other options i think the question would make no sense, at least not in a way i could think of.

I feel like if you look at the question another way, the answer could just as easily be (d).

I mean, if the first three symbols in the pattern constituted a complete unit, then the fourth symbol would begin the next unit, and would start with the first symbol of the first unit.

maybe it isn't a rotation or a transformation (triangle > cube), like the other ones, but a series of letters or numbers.

e.g. backslashes > circles > daggers > e... (edges?)

sometimes questions actually go like that, but this would be the only one of this kind in this test.
and it would make the test too language dependent. someone with no decent knowledge of english wouldn't be able to solve it.

hi, great poster. i've been that girl before, i'm embarrassed to say. if you're dead serious about leaving, you have to prepare for the guilt trips and stay strong. she is an individual responsible for herself and you are a person who can make decisions for themselves and she has to respect that even if that decision is cutting her off. i mean, you wouldn't walk up to a person in the street and guilt them into being with you- that's not how it works. she'll grow up eventually, but you're prolonging that process by indulging her.

I can't tell if my mailman actually enjoys talking to me or just does it to ease the tension. I invited him in for a bump of K the other day and he was all "dude it's 6.30 in the morning on a Tuesday!" And he didn't come by today which I guess isn't out of the ordinary being a Saturday but I usually wait up for him for a couple hours on a Saturday morning just in case he decides he wants to swing by you know?
