Thumbs up I have a jar of that tainted peanut butter!!!

The numbers on the lid start with 2111!! No salmonella for me. I am going to spend $2.50 to mail the lid in for a $1 refund.

Anyone who has Peter Pan or Great Value Peanut Butter with the 2111 code should throw it away. If a refund is desired, the jar's lid can be mailed to ConAgra Foods:

ConAgra Foods
P.O. Box 57078
Irvine, CA 92619

ConAgra has established a toll-free number to answer questions about the affected products: 866-344-6970

Added bonus from this scare: I now know that Great Value peanut butter and Peter Pan peanut butter are the same thing. $$$$$

see if you eat it, you will probably get much much more than $1.

Plus, if you eat it, you can see who is tougher; you or salmonella

Interesting idea. Perhaps I should seek legal counsel first. Of course we are assuming that my immune system could fight off the infestation.

On NPR, they said salmonella is rarely fatal, just that the sick feel miserable for four to five days. Yeah, I bet the people in the hospital just love the description "miserable." haha.

t's the plan of most
To discover that magnificent ghost
When did I get perverted
And my innocent eyes diverted from the view so grand
Imbued with distractions

Sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying

I'm greedy like Senior Babbitt
I'm just chasing that electric rabbit
I'm a reluctant rebel
I just want to be Aaron Neville
With a crown on my head
And my denim shirt all dark with sweat

And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan

I'm just pushing the paint around
On advice from your lying mouth
You touched me, then ran
And left a sad Peter Pan
All alone and awkward
But a transformation, it will occur

And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan
And you're lying, sad Peter Pan

If they find a dead bum around here I might feel bad about it. But I guess deciding to eat trash runs that risk.

Yeah we had 3 jars of it (my mom really likes peanut butter. And she also likes to stock up the pantry in case of the end of the world or something).

I seriously had 8 jars of it. I think I ate another 4 before that. I'm surprised noone's busting my balls about hoarding peanut butter.

Netphoria, I expect more from you.
