This is one thing that has really turned me off to Sanders' supporters, or saying I openly support Sanders... although I basically do and will be voting for him in a few weeks. Literally any criticism of Sanders is painted as some kind conspiracy by Clinton to derail his campaign, which mathematically doesn't really need that much help being derailed because he just doesn't have the same kind of national support as Hillary, even minus her media influence and the way the primary process is built to favor the establishment. Obama was able to claim her inheritance because his campaign machine just outdid her, but this is a very different scenario and Sanders hasn't been able to build comparable support across demographics.

When I talk to Sanders diehards and cite election models using actual fucking math, I get told that the math is being manipulated and they know this because... I dunno, intuition I guess. There is no information about those polls except that they're run by SurveyMonkey - how have these polls been measured and given error rates, etc.?

I think reprise could run a better poll after being present in half a dozen stats for social sciences classes, with clearer documentation about survey methods and margins of error, than Survey Monkey.
