and mooney, sucker punching a guy when he's not looking at you is a worse offense in my mind than "flicking blood" at the bench when it's clear that no blood got there or would have had a chance to get there. it was a gesture. not a sucker punch like avery threw. what a bitch that guy is.

avery vs. fraser was not a sucker punch. he was looking right at avery, dropped his gloves and stick, tried to skate backwards to get some some separation, and got his ass kicked. clearly the league agrees, since they would love to jump on any chance at suspending him. as i said before, unsportsmanlike, but not a sucker punch.
