It was always enough for me that her books are just pages of bland dialogue set against a backdrop of the most pedestrian possible storytelling clichés, but it would appear that Rowling's authorship is not necessarily any worse than her inner character.

yeah i only got 100 pages into that and gave up. the characters were too goofy/surreal to be compelling.

loved the rest of cholera tho. great ending. great setting! the city and the time really felt immersive and tangible.

I don't wanna go full on conspiracy guy, but I believe there's a lot of political motivation and deception going on with Covid-19. A year before in Davos for the World Economic Forum there was a presentation about the need for a "great reset" and it was actually suggested that it could be rolled out under the guise of a pandemic.
