Default Deerhunter - Monomania

Anyone else listen to the new Deerhunter effort yet? It took a few listens, but I think it's very good (first song especially). So far all BC stuff released under Deerhunter has been solid since Microcastle.

i would like to add that the one of the great things about Deerhunter is how their albums grow on you. i have listened to Microcastle and Halcyon Digest so much i know every song pretty well, but it still sounds fresh and some of the tracks i found harder to get into, like Helicopter, are better with each listen.

such. a. great. band.

Back in the Middle sounds like a song from The Strokes at times.

it's a lot more pop, not as many weird space out moments like the others
