Zero stage presence. They always look like they are rehearsing and completely bored.
it's not just those two though, everyone in the band has muted stage presence

https://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2018...ise-show-1979/

news lady doesn't know which one's the guitarist or bass player
the image of billy giving the "rock signal" (as described by the news lady) is hilarious, surprised he's driving himself out of the area.

Doesn't take a lot of energy to cash a cheque.

Who the hell actually attended these shows? How did they hear about them and get tickets? Were all these people winners of the contest? It seems like this show and the Troubador show were supposed to build hype for the tour, but I have not heard of any hardcore fans attending either.

You couldn't buy tickets to this. You had to win it.

Sadly, this may be the best thing we've gotten out of Smashing Pumpkins 2018.

The constant criticism. Jesus. Sure. Shit on any music you don't like it (there's plenty of reason to do that), but they probably could have sold out a backyard if they were allowed. Permit probably allows a certain number of people.

Ram! Come on. The owner was probably like, "OK we'll let you rent this but you are not throwing a concert in our fucking living room."
