i was watching some really old clips on youtube yesterday and realized what I'd really already known but sort of blocked: billy has ALWAYS dressed terribly. There was a brief period where he had the zero outfit, which didn't look completely stupid (then again, silver pants? kinda stupid). During the adore era he looked like he'd found himself a stylist (yelena, perhaps?) and then he went back to looking stupid when machina came around. I always liked his clothes during the SD era, but honestly most people probably found that horrible too. Ill-fitting, ugly polyester, pants that are never long enough, coats with giant wooly collars, etc. He looked equally goofy when gish was around, as well as his goth look during the marked. So yeah, it's not that different for billy to dress badly; it's what he does. *shrug*

his dress kinda fit with the times then... wearing "weird shit" was just oh so alternative!

SD was my favorite BC outfit era. but i think he looked really good during adore, he looked nourished (not overly skinny or bloated) and his black outfits were flattering.
