The Smashing Pumpkins will play a cover version of "Wonderwall".
For the honor of being the supporting act of the musical genius behind Britain's biggest band beside the Beatles on his U.S. tour.

I'd be okay with a cover of Wonderwall at this point. Would be better than anything from the last 6 - 7 years.

I was looking at some Flying Birds setlists and Noel actually performs Wonderwall during his sets lol

billy will rant about nobody buying their last album, "the kids these days" and "the music industry in general", instead of playing a second song. the word "integrity" will be used 17 times.

Noel wanted to sing Wonderwall. But after Liam demanded it, Noel sang Don't Look Back in Anger to get back at him.

I know these things.

Red face

Hearing that they're playing "La Cucaracha" in a wrongheaded attempt to woo the Latinx community

I knew he'd do the songs he sang lead on, but I didn't think he'd do any of the Liam-sung classics.

This was really good. Dig the 3 guitar arrangement, way better than the karaoke version. James killing it, jimmy putting more jazz into some of those snare rolls. Sounds like a band that’s really starting to find its groove rather than starting over.

2010-2011 or so I was saying billy was finished and had no juice left in him, but he’s turning over a new leaf here.

Yeah, for 1 infamous acoustic show, only because Liam was acting like a dolt and bailed at the last minute.
