The fact that you remembered what the Spice Girl video was like to make that comparison says a lot about you...

What about the overhead cleavage shot of her on the "Gingercycle?" Hi-res screenshot, please.

this video is yet another example of how painfully irrelevant the band has become. this seems like something aerosmith would do.

Get off a SP fanboard then if you hate them so much. It's easy for you. Bye bye now.

they should stop using cgi. walking shade was ok, but its pretty boring now espiecially compared with their old videos... the spice girls vid they ripped off was better. i used to REALLY enjoy that video when it came out.

they shouldnt release any more singles from this cd as its all downhill these first 2 singles...on the first track when billy siongs "you should be ashamed" im not sure if he joking or not or doesnt realize what a hypocrit he is. bring on, Zeitgeist II on Machina III. try again.

Forgive me if someone's already mentioned this in previous threads, but with the D'arcy look-alike in the video, it made me wonder if the song might actually be about her (instead of Courtney). Thoughts?

No, it doesn't even really look much like her (other than the hair), but since she's somewhat of a centerpiece in the video, it got me wondering if there's any symbolism attached to her (or if it's just random, meaningless art).

Great video. The beginning has kind of a Tonight, Tonight vibe and when they hop in the spaceships it feels like Walking Shade. The performance reminds me of TEITBITE like somebody else said. I really like the video, best video Billy has made since Ava Adore, they really feel like a band in it, and Ginger looks fucking hot, especially the first time she stands up in the short skirt, I'm sure pervy Billy came up with that, if he was smart he'd have had Ginger play the love interest or something in the video so he could make out with her.

At first glance I thought they cast D'arcy in the vid. lol! What's up with that bad wig they put on Ginger? Did the hair and makeup people figure since D'arcy was into wigs and doing weird things to her hair that Ginger would be down with that too? Poor Jeff. Relegated to the side car. There's not much of a story line to this vid, but it is better than I thought it would be. At least there's no count chocula capes.

All the guys did look quite dapper in their suits. Jimmy especially carries it well. The pumpkin ladies both looked beautiful of course.

i like it... it's hard to judge on a computer screen, but it's at least a vast improvement from the tarantula video. not how i imagined it, but they never are, and it's an interesting interpretation. however much i like the video and songs by themselves though, i actually like them less together... the don't seem to fit, especially because of how bored everyone looked during the performance. i appreciate that maybe they wanted to play less into the corny aspects of the song, because that usually isn't a selling point on rock singles, but to ignore it entirely makes the video feel like it's for a different song. at least it's not too cheesy and overdone, but i was expecting something a little less serious. something so futuristic and mechanical would have worked better for another song... the concept is interesting, but doesn't necessarily enhance the song itself.
