Keeping an unemotional angle on this....(not that I condone what the seller is doing)....people that aren't as "tuned in" as we are could find some value in that.

First off, most people don't really give a damn if it's an MP3 source or lossless. Second, some people are too busy to do the research and legwork to find something like that and just want to purchase it in a simple manner.

So yes, it is wrong, but at the same time it serves its purpose. Does it really offend you so much? The best way to truly get even is to start your own digital auction with the price set at $.01.

You have to pay to sell on ebay, so selling an item for .01 (assuming of course, that you can sell something that cheap, which I doubt you can, since ebay takes a cut of whatever you sell it for) would make you lose money.

And the point is that this item shouldn't be sold at all.

i also don't think the seller is selling this item just so people can have a simple way to get it. The seller is trying to make money. That's what purpose it serves.
