just stop being a post-aholic. If you aren't adding anything to the thread its better to remain silent...

I keep you off ignore because i know you are a genuine fan.

if you want to go off topic about things why not bring it up in that horrible thread that they sticky. or even better just go into the Gen Board. I can at least say Bardy is a wise enough girl to know that she doesn't have to bring up off topic stuff in a thread but she can go to the gen board and start stuff up there..

do you see where I am coming from? I'm not here to make friends. and their are plenty of lurkers who aren't here to make friends. Lets just keep this board like it was intended to be. About the band the Smashing Pumpkins & those things that some how relate to the band members bother present and past etc..

this is the last I am going talk about this.. this should of just been done in a PM rather then a rant for the public.

Big girls don't cry
Big girls don't cry

Big girls don't cry-yi-yi (they don't cry)
Big girls don't cry (who said they don't cry?)
My girl said goodbye-yi-yi (my oh my)
My girl didn't cry (I wonder why)

it shouldn't surprise me that swervedriver was mentioned on sp's site considering they're so intertwined with my several sp experience. they opened the 2nd time i saw SP, and i bought mezcal head the same night i waited in line for the midnight release of Pisces.

meer coincidence that elements of my personal connection with SP transcend space & time to appear on SP's website? i think not.

doubters should see them, currently on tour with The LIfe and Times.

can't you see that you're both incredibly obnoxious posters. sheer hypocrisy to deny. accept the abysmal shortcomings of others before you expect them to accept yours. that's my motto.

It all boils down to people either trying to one up each, or pat each other on the back. Really is there really that much to to talk about. This thread is a perfect example.

I must say, that's a strange choice that I don't quite understand. It could just as well rate for having memorable drumming. I guess it rates because of that trademark riff. Is Live's "I Alone" on that list by any chance as well? The guitar in these two songs seems to have much the same style and approach, and they came from the same era.

70 "Bullet With Butterfly Wings"
Smashing Pumpkins (1995)

It's consummate Nineties alt-rock: a song about the commodification of angst set to "up-and-down rock guitars, pounding drums," as singer-guitarist Billy Corgan puts it. But Corgan also mocks his own discontent with a laughing wah-wah at the end.
