I'm going to this with my friend, who lives in Chicago. Definitely up for meeting some Netphorians.

That was a really great read...
Is anybody staying close to the venue? |

I've been to Ravinia a bazillion times. you can pretty much bring in anything you want to, especially on the lawn...since food, booze, and full-on picnics are allowed there. no grilling, but I've pretty much seen everything else including battery powered hot plates and crock pots, sterno's to heat/cook food, etc.
I've seen tripods, cameras and recording devices of all sorts in the lawn before too (though there typically isn't anything other than more people and satellite speakers for the viewfinder to see), and since there really isn't a search or anything on the way in, my guess is a grounds-walker would just come over and ask you to put it away if recordings are not permitted. the pavilion is more restricted; no food or booze unless you buy @ the venue...so as to not disturb with the performance's enjoyment. so i'd assume that overtly visble recording equipment and such would be more restricted there as well. |

I have two Row R tickets from "friends" that bailed on me that I'm selling for face value (80 per ticket plus 7 venue fee, 167 total). They are side by side on Lower Center row R, which seems like a great location (I've never been on the venue...).
PM if interested, I'll be in Chicago downtown thru Friday pm and then on Gurnee, to meet for the sale. |

Looks like I'm going to have an extra pavilion ticket. Left section but FRONT ROW and face value. Will have to meet there. Prefer to have the money via PayPal ahead of time, and you must meet me by a reasonable time prior to the show because I want to go in and have fun! I want to hook you up, but I don't want to get burned. I had to eat a ticket for the farewell United Center show when someone no-showed.
But seriously, a FRONT ROW ticket for face value! Who's interested? My ebay ID is "duo-sonic" FYI. Honest guy looking to hook someone up. Last edited by DuoSonic : 08-28-2014 at 11:42 PM. |

they'll have to cover half of the lawn in black plastic to make it look less empty. typical corgan style.

the one from the first link is the same as the one from the second, I put both sources in one post which probably made no difference at all but too late now
