In canada we have a new Good Samaritan law for drug OD situations just like this. If someone is ODing you want others to call for help and not be worried that they'll get charged for also using.

yeah, i thought the same thing when i saw it.

i think it's funny how billy kind of developed a revisionist view on the whole topic, basically stating in his confessions that "it was all for show" and "we acted that way to make jimmy THINK there's really no coming back", but in those interviews he really is combusting with anger and disappointment that are seemingly very sincere, like "how the fuck could he do this, to me and to this band, just when we're at the top of our game"

it's really bittersweet how billy had the extreme fortune of just happening to stumble across one of the greatest rock drummers on earth while putting his band together, but how that person also turned out to be that one guy who triggers his worst childhood traumas and demons in the worst possible way
