i took a couple of quick photos of her at sappyfest. she didn't go on til like 1:30, and by that time i was more interested in drinking beer than actually doing my job.

It's pretty decent synth-pop but she's a poor singer. I didn't think hardly any people here were into synth-pop

I listened to most of Visions and it sounds like synth-pop to me.

?

It sounds like electronic music that was popular in the 80s. I don't see what all the hype is about. The vocals are kind of strange and odd but not in a good way.

Everyone froths on this vaguely-interesting-but-nothing-super-special album but Doe Paoro goes under the radar:

TRAVISTY.

Grimes shares the same birthday as Billy and I do think they share similar ethereal qualities in their approach to music that only dreamy Pisces can do.

how can a relative unknown be supremely overrated? She has a distinctive style and quality and found a niche in a tough racket. If she was being pushed like the pop-diva's and being haled as the next Bjork, then I could understand the critique.

I have a small obsession with her currently

i'm not even that hip to her music, but her whole arty persona and changing fashion thing she's got going is p cool

apparently, a friend of a friend of mine actually knows her personally from school

plus shes kinda cute, in an ewok sort of way
