Perfect pitch- Knowing exactly what a pitch sounds like, and being able to name it when heard or sing it when asked to sing it. My drummer has it, he's a freak. Ask him to sing a Bb, for example, and he'll sing it perfectly.. I've tested him on this with a tuner and he always nails it. About 1 in 200 has this ability.

Relative Pitch- being able to identify intervals, chord structures, scales, etc etc relating to other heard pitches... this is a skill most experienced/trained musicians have.

this is all basic music theory 101, I went to college for music and have been teaching it for 10+ years. This is like, one of the first things you're taught freshman year.
