Smashing Pumpkins songs have to be played loud to be appreciated.
I have a much younger brother and he was listening to them on speakers which had a fairly normal / slightly quiet volume but the music had no impact on him at all. He even said it was boring.
A couple weeks later we were at my apartment and I played him the same songs (it was Siamese dream and some of Mellon collie) at my house at full volume on my loud sound system with my bass booster and he was blown away and is now converted and listens to them all the time. Discuss. |

Kindly leave your much younger brother alone, and fuck off with the smashing pumpkins. It’s his world now, not yours/theirs

When you’ve been listening to Christian rock your whole life and you think Smashing Pumpkins is edgy.
