Default Found Boff being mean to Kenny at his first show.

Corgan: (unintelligible)... I know Mellencamp, you could play under him while he was talking, but you don't play underneath us.

what a dickhead

In Stockholm, 1998/05/25:
"You're fired, Kenny, you're fired!" when playing "1979".

It takes many years of practice and quite a bit of talent to play that retarded as you'd put it

Yeah, some of it really doesn't work. There are some amazing versions of Tear on that tour though where it really comes together, others not so much.

The straight piano improvisation works much better than some of the other synth sounds he would throw into the mix though. Those haven't dated well, and at the time probably sounded pretty naff as well.

When him and BC work well together though, it's some of the best stuff SP have done live.

"I remember one time I came up with this idea, OK we're gonna do this like uh, kind of hip-hop version of I Want You to Want Me, and D'arcy you're gonna sing it. So we spent like two hours, it never worked obviously. Just all kinda came back to me in that particular moment."

this woulda been great
but i wonder if someone from massive attack overheard that rehearsal, because not too long after, this came out
