Default Free Flexidisc for Preorder Folks?!

I suppose we can scratch this one off of the list of "Broken Promises"...

To: Me
From: SPRC

Dear SPRC Members,

We want to thank you again for preordering through SmashingPumpkins.com.

Late last fall you pre-ordered a physical product of either Gish or Siamese Dream from us that did not arrive in a timely manner. We apologize again and want you to know we have changed distributors and there should never be a delay such as this again.

We have created a surprise Flexidisc especially for you. In order to receive this you will need to enter your order number and go through the completely free, $0 "purchase" process to confirm your address with us. Please order your Flexidisc here.

Please fill out your info ASAP as we will close orders for this product at midnight PST on Monday April 30th, 2012. Please note that this is a limited offer for those who pre-ordered physical product before November 28th of 2011 and your order number will be needed. You can find your order number in your original receipt.

Thank you for your continued support!

And, scratch that optimism. The site was originally down - and now after going through the ordering process, I'm getting an error message that the site can't process free orders.

Cool.

I hear it's 10 minutes of Jimmy & Billy jamming through Adore songs in studio on one side, and a SBD White Spyder from a Euro 2000 soundcheck on the other.

I just heard it is an instrumental version of Frail and Bedazzled and a song called 'Barbed Wire'. I'm stoked now!

I know someone that works at Topspin (although not very well). I called her because I lost my order number and then just happened to ask her.

Yesterday, it was giving me an error message on the last screen which prevented me from completing my order. After giving it some time to get worked out and seeing that the situation has apparently been fixed, I just went back in to finalize my order - and now it's saying "email already exist."

Awesome. Not only is it not working, but I'm also log jammed by a lack of proper grammar.

Hoping it's something cooler than Frail and Bedazzled/Barb Wire. But, I guess we don't have any physical releases of those items anyways, so that would be kinda cool.

Had this same problem. Try it in a different browser (firefox worked and chrome didn't) and use a different e-mail address. They don't match the e-mail with the previous order. I asked!

Pretty sure they wouldn't just slap the already released tracks on a flexidisc, I think your friend is confused

When was Barbed Wire released? I've never heard of it. It sounds awesome though

I hear it's a recording of unfulfilled announcements. Expect volume two when you preorder the Mellon Collie reissue.
