Apples In Stereo - Velocity of Sound
You may have heard it but if not, don't read a (pitchfork/amg) review and check it out. Or if you need song suggestions from it: Baroque, Mystery, Where We Meet. It isn't a mindblower but it is good in a (old) Weezer meets the White Stripes kinda way (or if you familiar with the Apples, it sounds like a good version of them.) |

I don't think Pitchfork has reviewed the new Q And Not U, so if you haven't checked that out, it is pretty cool. The McLusky album is great. Bryan Ferry's new CD. Original Sinners CD. David Bowie's latest. Flogging Molly's Drunken Lullabies. Trust by Low. Fed by Plush.

I'm going to have to say The Velocity of Sound is not worth hearing.
I love the Apples, but yeah this isn't a good album. useless fact velocity of sound=1,130 ft. per second. |

I'm sharing all the other ones, too, but they're in need of being put into folders and so forth. I will do that now before I burn my Yoshimi Wins! cd. |

Oh, and there is this guy named Radio Zumbido who put out a pretty neat album, except I can't find it anywhere.

Still, though, for somebody so prolific, he really puts out quality stuff. Supposedly, he has another one out this year that's a cover album of traditional stuff, called Songs. I may need to find that. |

There's too much music. The way I see it, I'll be caught up with 2002's cool stuff by 2006.

I think Interpol is a great band. The album is called 'Turn on the Bright Lights'. I'm obsessed with it at the moment. Yeah, and Queens of the Stone Age put out a good album too.
