Monitor Brightness?!
I need some help, I have my brightness and contrast controls set to the max but my monitor is still ridicoulsy dark. What can I do. Thanks.

Yeah that happened to my old Samsung and I had to buy a new one. I got a 3 year warranty on it in case it happened again. The new one is NEC and hasn't faded yet.
Same thing happened to my old JVC tv after a few years. Strange, cause my Silver tv is still going strong after 20 years. |

check your display settings. sometimes your video card will have extended options to crank it up
