Sometimes I have more than one variation of an image I like, and I'm left unsure as to which one I want to put up, because I don't want too many similar photos in my online album thing.

I like how the cut-out figure in focus in this one looks kinda confused.


But I also like the clarity of the shadows cast by those two pins sticking out of the sign in this one.

There are cool. The second to last pic seems as if a very tiny person took the photo. Sorry I can't help you decide which is best. And thank you for reminding me my US Chess Federation expires on the 31st of this month!

I find that some of the photos seem to evoke the feeling of loneliness (maybe because they capture some of the empty seat opposite of the figure), and some of them seem to place more emphasis on the statue's strenuous concentration.

I think I like taking pictures of statues, because it's almost cheating; somebody else already made the art piece, I'm just kinda piggybacking on it by putting a frame around it.

I put my photos on Instagram, and they offer an option to kind of bundle photos into one post, but the problem is that they don't let you do that without cropping all the photos in the post into squares. I don't understand why, seeing as you can keep your photo's original dimensions for non-bundled posts.

about the two of the cut-out figures... it makes it seem like there is movement during a demonstration.
+ look at it this way, painters do variations of the same subject all the time.
