utterly brilliant. such a hilarious clip. in ten years this clip will be the most amazing gem.

the rhetoric from the fox news guy -- "do you not believe in freedom of speech??," as if hatred of freedom of speech (by demonstrators, no less) is the reason for their not submitting to a drive-by interview from fox news -- is so bad it kinda defies belief; more than once i thought the video was some clever youtube satire ("fox news takes on DNC rally!") filmed by a bunch of grad students or something.
the woman host was ridiculous too. the bias of fox is so absurd in how blatant and unchained it is.

that said, the demonstrators really didnt leave the best taste in ones mouth. a bunch of stoners and degenerates and cranks, was the impression it'll leave with the general public.

im dying to see what the daily show makes of this video, god

I'm fully expecting a Clinton made controversy to come out of this convention.

And whole "Do you believe in freedom of speech because you're not talking to me" thing was hilarious.

DENVER – Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, hoping to unite the Democratic Party and cement her future in it, will gather her hard-won primary delegates Wednesday at a reception where she is expected to formally release them to Barack Obama.

Man this reminds me of the time I tried to interview a crocodile with a microphone made out of rotting fish. That mother fucker made a scene and all I could think to utter was "do you not believe in freedom of speech???" Total backfire on my part bros.

whatever.

in other, less but still definitely retarded news, the protestors of the convention are saying that they're being treated like prisoners.

Quote:
DENVER (AP) - A small group of protesters has marched to the demonstration zone outside the Democratic National Convention, complaining they are being treated like political prisoners.

A contingent from the protest group Recreate 68 Alliance went to the fenced-off zone on Monday, even though they had vowed earlier they would never return.

Protesters derisively call the 47,000-square foot zone the "Freedom Cage." It's separated from the parking lot around the convention hall by metal fences atop concrete barriers.

It's about 700 feet from the Pepsi Center, where the delegates will gather starting Monday night.

Recreate 68 organizer Mark Cohen says the city and the Secret Service are treating demonstrators "like political prisoners, like pariahs."
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php...show_article=1

for people vowing to duplicate and/or top the violence of the convention from 1968, they shouldn't be acting so suprised with how authorities are handling them.

duuuur.

so, i thought michelle obama did a fucking awesome job with her speech. olberman was sucking her titties for about a half hour afterward, but that's not much of a surprise. the fox news crew was shitting all over her, but also, not much of a suprise.

i didn't know she was such a good speaker, and i was particularly impressed with her "we need to vote with our hope, not our fears" line.

s'my girl!

i have a feeling that hillary clinton will do her fair share of launching the attack tonight.

seriously though, was michelle obama going to do much in the line of firing shots at the white house? if anyone should've done it, it would have been kennedy.

a lot of the *analysts* have been saying the same thing: the democrats didn't come on strong enough, they didn't address specific policy outlines, it was too much fluff, etc.

:: sigh:: it sort of depresses me that even with such great speeches last night, people still think it was all fucking bullshit. it's also starting to make me think about what it means to be an "american" now. yes, there are all different kinds of us, but it's becoming more and more clear that the division between "left and right", "liberal and conservative", "stupid and retarded" is becoming stronger and stronger.

can we just have America 1 and America 2?

No, but running up no-names for the first three hours was pointless bullshit.

Network TV launched into the exciting Mr. Leech! *gags*

Oh, that's because you watch the major media networks. The left and right, liberal and conservative stuff is mostly just rhetoric in order to divide the people into only voting for two parties. There's not much difference between most Dems and Republicans anymore (with a few notable exceptions).

Weird, the notable exceptions are usually the ones I like and admire... Paul, Kucinich, etc...
