Would only have been a lie, if I'd said to own Steve Job's washing machine...

Steve loved household machines from MIELE. And German glasses.

I don't know, I think there are a lot of other lies you could tell about the washing machine and Steve Jobs

Don't sell yourself short, you have a big imagination

For instance, just to get your juices flowing, here's one: Steve climbed inside one of these machines as an alternative treatment for his tumor but he couldn't convince his assistant to turn it on

Don't know if Steve's widow is still keeping loyalty to this machine....

So let's bet a hundred Euro that I still have this washing machine in my household.

That's not my machine. Someone from Berlin tried to sell it on Ebay several times, He should at least have written that no one peed standing up...

Steve Jobs and Bill Gates had something common:

How Steve Jobs picks a washer/dryer
“We didn’t have a very good one so we spent a little time looking at them,” he told contributing editor Gary Isaac Wolf. “It turns out that the Americans make washers and dryers all wrong. The Europeans make them much better – but they take twice as long to do clothes! It turns out that they wash them with about a quarter as much water and your clothes end up with a lot less detergent on them. Most important, they don’t trash your clothes. They use a lot less soap, a lot less water, but they come out much cleaner, much softer, and they last a lot longer.
“We spent some time in our family talking about what’s the trade-off we want to make. We ended up talking a lot about design, but also about the values of our family. Did we care most about getting our wash done in an hour versus an hour and a half? Or did we care most about our clothes feeling really soft and lasting longer? Did we care about using a quarter of the water? We spent about two weeks talking about this every night at the dinner table. We’d get around to that old washer-dryer discussion. And the talk was about design.”
Two weeks of discussions to choose a washing machine? That’s life in the Jobs household. (He opted for Miele in the end, adding, “I got more thrill out of them than I have out of any piece of high tech in years.”)

At $1,895, It's The Porsche Of Washers
Run this through your spin cycle: Miele, the high-end German appliance manufacturer of status vacuums and trophy dishwashers, is eyeing your cashmere sweaters. Miele's new top-of-the-line washing machine is touted as combining tough porcelain and stainless-steel construction with silk-nightgown gentleness.
For some, the $1,895 price tag might make them feel as if they'd been taken to the cleaners.
But Miele's stainless-steel drums already are agitating socks in some impressive laundry rooms. Microsoft's Bill Gates owns three in his Medina mansion, company sources say. And Apple impresario Steve Jobs told Wired magazine that although even he thought Miele washers were "too expensive," he "got more thrill out of them than I got from any piece of other high-tech equipment in years."

Their washers have Wifi built right in so you can put in a load of clothes and detergent, turn on the washer, then walk far away and hit the start button on your phone

It's fucking brilliant and I definitely see lots of times when this would be practical and useful

It's probably what led Jobs to invent apps on phones

Man, every time I check out my Falco group, there's always like 5-10 people viewing it, and I still only have 2 members. I mod groups with 600 people that routinely have less people viewing it.

Weird. We're still open for members, if you're fan, hit us up with a sub

Actually, I take it back, this is obviously the best pop-culture Falco tie-in

This is the best interview I've seen on Youtube. It's hilarious! Thank god for the subtitles!

he talks about his money problems, glorifies his cocaine use, his story about how he snubbed David Lettermen among other things.

Guy's just naturally charming

I love Falco, but this was one of the most hilariously bad lip-syncing sequences that I've ever seen.

I cued up a peak-cringe moment near the end.

The shot of the tiny studio audience at the end is the icing on the cake

Man, it was weird how Falco aged like 30 years in the time span of 10 years
