God it’s changed over the years.
When I was younger he was so mysterious and enigmatic and I would almost say I idolised him. But since then he has talked too much and not in a great way always and that has damaged his enigma for me personally. And I have seen the business / money side to him. Which reduces his integrity as a rock and roll star to me also. I know now he is intelligent or even worse very very clever. All that said, I still respect him deeply as probably the best or one of the best living songwriters of our generation has ever seen and that won’t go away. As an afterthought this poses an interesting alternative question. How can you / or should you have a ‘relationship’ with someone you don’t know or have never met? Most or maybe all us don’t know or have any relationship with BC. We only have a relationship with his music.
